Award-Winning Pittsburgh Guitarist, Songwriter, Creator, Producer
LGBTQ+ Singer/Songwriter Guitarist. Pianist. Drummer.
Lily Harvey has been singing since before she could talk. She started writing songs when she was 11 years old, which is how she discovered that music was more than fun...it was her life calling.
At age 8, she fell in love with her first favorite band, The Pixies. After that, it was The Offspring and Tina Turner. By the time she was 12, her musical influences included Joni Mitchell, Jefferson Airplane, Nina Simone, Laura Nyro, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Tori Amos.
When she was 11, she was invited as a guest musician at a party at The Vault Recording Studio, where she stole the show and wowwed the crowd with her astounding natural talent for the drums.
Since then, she has written 3 albums worth of music, in a constant outpouring of her musical creativity.
Lily is a 2019 WYEP Reimagination Project Artist - and was the first female electric guitarist EVER in the Franklin Regional Jazz Band. She has been an annual soloist in her school's chorus program and won the 6th Grade Idol Outstanding Vocalist Award for her performance of Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit.
